    Divorce is the growing sickness of our age, threatening the very existence of the home. Approximately one in every three marriages ends in divorce, and evidence suggests the toll is rising. The sharp upward rise began in 1969, when 639,000 couples broke the record set in 1946 with the dissolution of many hasty wartime marriages. Since 1969, the divorce rate has steadily increased more than the marriage rate and the population growth. Commenting on the current attitude toward divorce, lawyer Max Lichtenberg says, "Marriage is no longer viewed as something made in heaven. It's a legal contract."
    
    This "worldly" view toward marriage is tragic and totally anti-biblical. Jesus pointedly said of the marriage relationship: So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate (Matthew 19:6). Jesus tells us that marriage is a union, not a contract.
    
    The special nature of marriage was further illustrated when God created woman. Note that the females of all other species were created independently of the male. However, when God created woman He drew flesh from the man's flesh and bone from his bone. Man is incomplete without woman because she is part of him. Woman is incomplete without man because he is part of her. In marriage, a union of the two is formed, and they become one flesh. A broken union is a rift in God's creation. Adam said of Eve: This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man (Genesis 2:23).

We attended a wedding and on our way back the car broke down thus we became so dirty as you can see. The Dean understood and gave them three days to prepare. Shakira reveals she’s pregnant with first child

Her hips don't lie, and now, neither does Shakira. The Colombian pop star — who is set to temporarily replace Christina Aguilera on "The Voice" next season — finally confirmed the rumor that she and her soccer star beau, Gerard Pique, are expecting a baby. "As some of you may know, Gerard and I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby!" the 35-year-old wrote on her website on Wednesday. "At this time we have decided to give priority to this unique moment in our lives and postpone all the promotional activities planned over the next few days," including her performance at the iHeartRadio festival in Las Vegas this weekend. But, she adds, "I'm sure this weekend in Las Vegas will be spectacular and I will be closely following everything that happens there! … Big kiss!"
According to Colombian magazine Gente, Shakira and the Spanish-born Pique, 25, are expecting a baby boy, who is set to arrive in January. The report from last month adds that the couple has already nicknamed him Ulicito. Shakira's pregnancy was first reported in July when she was spotted visiting an obstetrician in Miami.


Shakira and Pique, who plays center back for FC Barcelona, have been dating since at least March 2011, just two months after she announced her split from her boyfriend of 11 years, Antonio de la Rua, the son of a former president of Argentina. Earlier that year, it had been rumored that she was already seeing Pique, although she denied it.
The two first met in the spring of 2010, about the same time he appeared in the music video for her World Cup anthem, "Waka Waka," and the same year Spain took the title. Since then, Shakira has been spotted cheering on her man at FC Barcelona games all over the world, including a match in Dallas last year.

But not all is so rosy for Shakira. Her ex, de la Rua, is suing her for $250 million because he claims he gave up his career as a publicist to solely focus on brokering deals for her, including one for $100 million with Live Nation.

Lady Gaga Debuts Yet Another ‘Meat Garment’

Ready to meet Lady Gaga's meat, yet again? The superstar singer is continuing on a seemingly endless quest to offend vegetarians with yet another version of her infamous "meat dress"--this time, in a showy corset version much more form-fitting than the original. (Er, as form-fitting as a garment made of meat can be, that is.)

Gaga's "meat corset" debuted at a concert in Budapest last month and made a repeat appearance at her show in Amsterdam this week. The corset featured a strapless neckline and, reportedly, a thong-style backside...how comfortable that could be, we're not quite certain. Of course, Gaga chose matching "meat booties" to complete the look.

Although certainly revealing, this outfit isn't the most risque in Gaga's meat locker. She wore a bikini made of the stuff for the September 2010 cover of Vogue Japan. The original "meat dress" was worn for the 2010 Video Music Awards, and is now part of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's exhibit "Women Who Rock: Vision, Passion, Power," currently touring in Washington D.C.

The International Kids Fund, the Eugene twins and Jackson Memorial Hospital surgeon, Dr. Jesus Gomez, helped Marlie, resume a more normal life.
Marlie suffered from Polyostotic Fibrous Dysplasia and since then has undergone seven surgeries.  She was in South Florida earlier this year to replace excess scar tissue and replace her facial implants.

Marlie’s latest update will inspire you.  Her spirit is amazing.  Marlie, now seventeen, is typical of many girls her age… she loves to shop and hopes to meet that special boy and get married someday.  Yet Marlie is different… very different than most 17-year olds.  Although she hopes to marry someday she wonders if any boy could ever love her face.
It was difficult to listen to her tell (through a translator) her story.  Several times as she spoke tears would fall down her face.  At times there was such sadness in her eyes – yet at others, such strength. 
She made me realize how silly it is to worry about such insignificant things.  How we’ll stress out over something as silly as a zit.  I mean, how horrible it is if we are seen out in public with a little pimple on our face.  See what I mean?  Trivial.
I’m confident that after you watch the latest update on Marlie Casseus you too will be inspired by her courage.  You will also see the beauty in her face. 
In Marlie’s New Face you will see her latest surgery and how Dr. Gomez gives her face symmetry.  Marlie still has a long journey.  One that she hopes will bring her teeth – because the tumor caused her to lose hers.
